We went to the Grand Canyon.  I liked hiking down it and climbing rocks.  I got a junior ranger badge.

But the scariest thing was on the way home.

On the way home from the Grand Canyon our train was robbed.  I saw hoeses with cowboys running after the train.  They had mask on.  We were walking from the café car and we hid from the robbers.  They were stealing money.  Then second robber saw us and were going throw Preston off the train after they stole money.  It was very scary.  The marshal came to save us.  He put the robbbers in jail.

Last kiss for a while

Last kiss for a while

When we got the tickets to Supercross, we thought it would be a great place to say bye to Mike.  That way we are not leaving our home and him.  So he went with us to our first stop and is flying home.  I’m usually not a big fan of public loving…. he so great….so awesome… I’m so in love …my husband is amazing…blah blah blah

But today, I’m going to be one of “those” people!  You see Mike and I are a little different than some couples.  Mike likes everything structured and stay home to relax and I like to flutter around and fly by the seat of my pants.  Sometimes I feel jealous, when I see couples that are always doing stuff together and seem to be so attached to each other.  That is until my friends are dreading asking their spouse if they can go do something.  Then I feel grateful.  Mike and I  are both really independent people and have built this life in a way that neither of us would ever try to crush or stop the others dream.  Even if it is hard on the other person we always support and never say no.  I actually learned this from Mike.  He is much better at supporting me than I am him.  When I brought this idea up, he laughed and said sounds great!  I don’t think he actually really thought I would do it. So to his surprise when the plans started coming together I could see him stressing out that this was going to happen.  So true Mike form. …He kissed me on the forehead and said I would rather you didn’t do this but I know you are going to, so lets make you safe.  He got the motorhome ready, got a great car for me to  tow, top of the line towing system, triple A RV service and a spreadsheet that has formulas that change all the dates of my arrival days depending on how long I stay at one place.

I know this has been hard on him.  He is a jerk one minute and kissing my ears telling me he will miss them the next minute.  He gives me crossroads in my trip where I could just come home, waits a couple days, then he books his airline ticket for the weekend.

When I married Mike I told him “I have wings, promise me you will never try to clipped them.”  He has kept his promise.

It is a tradition in our family for your 10th birthday to pick a sporting event to attend.  Aiden chose a Patriot V Dolphin game in Miami.  Mason will be 10 on the 11th.  He loves dirt bikes so….. Supercross Finals in Vegas.   It is like the Superbowl of dirt bikes! This year the Easter Bunny left clues in eggs that  lead the boys to the “golden Egg.”  It was in this egg that the Supercross tickets were found!  Gotta love a bunny with deep pockets!

Monster Energy Supercross Pits

Monster Energy Supercross Pits

The thing about super cross that is so awesome is the pits.  Unlike other sporting events, all the riders are accessible to the fans.  You can get their autographs which is fun.  The big fun is hunting them!  They are coming to and from trailers and stages and the track.  If you find the right spot you can just run into them.  Yesterday the boys stood next to the red carpet that lead the riders onto the track.. As they went by, they high fived the boys.  So there all the boys stood high giving and yelling good luck….they were in heaven.  Taylore and I sat in the shade of the KTM trailer and watched, we too were in heaven sitting on the cool grass in the shade!

Know what cars can be towed.

Below is a picture of the cars…..my fleet!

The missing car is a jeep my dad let me pick out when I was 8.  He gave it to me a couple of years ago.  We towed it to Yellowstone and lets just say…..the old girl had some problems.  She has been in the shop since last year.  She doesn’t get to go!

The car in the rear is my everyday car, the Nav….to big and to heavy!  The Nav doesn’t get to go!

The black car in front of the Nav is well, the biggest mistake of all……my  lovely new 4runner.  See the deal was the it had to be a 2012 or older in order to pull it. We got a great deal on this little beauty …it was sold in 2012 but built in 2013 and its an electrical push start.  Guess what….Can’t tow an electrical push start!  We threw around trying to rig it up but the mechanic said we would just be causes more problems and that we should just get rid of it.  Since we purchased it in Nevada, we need to get the title.  That takes time and time is not on my side.  So the 4runner doesn’t get to go!

That brings us to the Explorer……Its all in the name!!!  She wants to explore….she is towable and fits my family……..SHE GETS TO GO!!!!!
