Today we got up and pulled out in 35MPH wind gust. Boys had to wear seat belts and I was white knuckling for awhile. How on earth do those Semi trucks go so fast. In spite of the wind, we made it to the Meteor Crater. The wind gust prevented us from hiking the rim but we saw it and hung out in the museum. I felt like we were on a field trip. It was cool. By the time we left the wind was gusting at 70MPH…Yikes! I’ve gotta say…I could drive a simi..hehehee! Well, I may be able to drive it but don’t ask me to gas it. Doesn’t everybody try to fill their diesel rig while the engine is running. oops!
